They didn't want to take our takeout order. They were to busy. I hope you will be busy all the time.

Just tried this place, I ordered the 1/2 pound charbon burger with carmelized onions and melted brie....OMG! I loved it.

Great food with my wife !Got a Tuango coupon, what a great deal The steaks and Chicken were fabulous. Beautiful place inside. very clean and the servers were super polite.Around us great people , all seemed happy. Saturday was full house, great to see it working well...Keep up the good word, we will be back in a couple of weeks!

We had a great time! Staff was really friendly the chef even came out to find out who ordered the Hulk! It was pretty funny and really cool to come say hello. We met a lovely couple visiting who added to the experience. Everyone was just super nice and had a great time. Would definitely come back!

We are so happy that you have remained open for take out (mmmmmmm Helen's pizza, charbon burger and the best pasta bolognese we've ever had!) We can't wait until the restaurant opens again, we will be the first in line this is a perfect place for a date night after being confined for so long. The food, the service, 5 stars all the way!! Me and my family absolutely loved the atmosphere and overall vibe. We had visited during a certain virus outbreak but the service was quick and they made sure to follow basic protocol. One unfortunate event was that one filet mignon had smelled off and unappetising, but they handled the situation wonderfully.

I eat fairly often at the most beautiful restaurants in Montreal and I have to say that Au Charbon can easily be included in my favorites. The filet mignon was incredible and my daughter cannot get enough of the pasta bolognese! The service is impeccable and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. We love this little getaway in St.Sauveur and highly recommend! Aida

Ignore the bad reviews!!! There will always be miserable people that will complain for the heck of it. This restaurant is great! We had supper on a Saturday night around 7PM. We were seated and served right away. Waiter was funny and great. Service was top notch and the food as well. We are from Montreal and we visit this establishment quite frequently. We are going back tonight! Don’t forget to reserve as they are usually full! BYOB!

We got there at 6:20pm.... They took our order almost an hour later... no water, no bread...we ordered the table hote. We never got our salads, we did get a very burnt french onion soup and the meals came around 8:45 for 7 of the 9 guests... the 8th meal came out about 15 minutes later and the last meal 30 minutes after the rest and not the right order. They ran out of Bavettes...After 3 hours the owner decides to come and see us to offer key lime pie on the house... no Thank You...Will never go back!

The food was very good! Unfortunately our waiter was a little slow in serving us and at one point impolite!

Tastey food, friendly staff and good service!

Although the service was stellar, and our young server was not only pleasant and attentive, she did a great job practicing her english on us. Sadly, I was left less than impressed with my meal, the bavette was seriously undercooked to the point that I could not even cut it, and one of my dining partners had a piece of chicken that wasn't cooked through. The burger of another of our group was the only shining star, although I must say, the bread, coleslaw and pickles brought to our table were all very good, and plentiful

Avoid the dry chicken, dry rice and over cooked vegetables. Perhaps pizza or pasta, that looked liked a better option. It took 45 minutes for us to get the food, and the plates were not served at the same time: Had to wait another 10 minutes to get the last plate.

One of the highlights of my week in St-sauveur. I reccomend the steak!

Absolutely amazing! Do not listen to the bad reviews. This place is by far one of the best places I have ever eaten at, our group all got different items (2 steaks, 1 salmon, and 1 pasta dish) and we all loved them. This place is a must if you are in the area.

Never again. Bad service from the host. We waited 1 hour for our food and my friend did not get her pizza until 1 1/2 hours! Many people walked out. Not worth it, will not go back.
